About This Print

I am not exactly sure what view the artist is presenting here, but the ring-like patch of white in the distance might be a formation caused by the vapors of the active volcano Mt. Aso in Aso Kujū National Park in Kumamoto Prefecture, on the island of Kyūshū.  The print is one of five in the series Five Views of Aso.
