White Dream

Kikuchi Keigetsu (1879-1955)

Japanese Color Woodblock Print

White Dream

by Ueda Fujo, 1962

IHL Cat. #170

About This Print

In this print we see the influence of his teacher Onchi Kōshirō (1891-1955), particularly in the squiggly lines combined with textural shapes. The birds, possibly crows, add a touch of realism to the artist's dream.
